Drums in the Park

There’s nothing like the sound of live percussion drums emitting through the air. This is something you have to experience for youself. People of all nationalities gyrating their bodies to the rhythm of the drums (you know a brother had to get his groove on too). It was a sight to behold. Music is and always has been a great way to bring people together, and in this day and age we need all the togetherness we can get.

This is nice. I know when I lived in New York and I passed by guy’s beating on drums or even slapsticking on buckets it always intrigued me.
I don’t know one single person that can pass live drums being played outdoors without stopping to partake…move…dance..or simply listen and admire the energy it produces…We have african drums in Prospect Park every Sunday for as long as I can remember….and even on my trip to Madrid, Spain – they had African drums in the park….on Sunday…at 6pm…amazing…its so universal…..
