It was a sad but great day when all the residents of Harlem gathered in tribute to Michael Jackson (June 30th 2009). This is one of the shots I took that day.

    It’s simplicity and genuine emotion on this young guy’s face that gets me. It’s truly worth a thousand words really. After all the pomp and circumstance, news reports, speculation, media circus, weeping and blame, isn’t this how we all feel?
